Vijay Singh — he earned it.

No player worked harder this week at The Barclays than Vijay Singh. During Tuesday's practice round, he was the last pro on the course — staying well into the evening hours. During Wednesday's Pro-Am, he worked every angle of every green — long after the amateurs had left for the next tee. Then after the Pro-Am, when the player parking lot was nearly empty, Vijay was down at the driving range hitting balls.

All this overtime paid off for Singh as he raised his arms in victory after the second hole of a three-player playoff. This is the fourth time he has won The Barclays, making him not only the hardest-working player in golf, but the biggest winner at this event.

Congratulations, Vijay. You earned it.

Who's going to win this thing?

The top of the leader board has been all jumbled up today, and with six holes left for the last group, the trophy is still up for grabs. There are nine players within two strokes of the top. Question is, will anyone rise up and take it? Or will it go to the player who can simply hang on?

Practice, Practice, Practice

Kevin Na spent some time around the putting and chipping green as he prepared for his final round here at Ridgewood. He sunk a few chips and made sand shots look effortless. The grounds are alive with more fans, more excitement and more humidity, which should make some of the greens a bit softer than they have been the past few days. The final ten groups are working the driving range and putting greens in preparation for the finish of the first tournament of the FedExCup Playoffs.

...And they're off!

Today's the day, people. With Streelman and Singh paired up for a 1:55 start, it's up to the rest of the pack to make up lost ground from yesterday. The weather's about the same today as yesterday (warm, but not too hot), so we expect some good low scores from the morning folks. That said, they all need to make up a good 5-8 strokes, which this course seems loathe to give up easily.
